The Milescraft Model 1407 D/TFeatherBoard has the dual slide motion and unique pre-load tension design features of the 1406 FeatherBoard and includes a sturdy spacer for tall stock cutting operations. The D/TFeatherBoard includes two 3/4-Inch and two 5/8-Inch miter bars as well as four T-Slot bolts allowing it to be used as either dual OR tandem feather boards in nearly any application on router tables and table or band saws.

Milescraft Dual/Tandem Feather Board
We’ve looked at, and tested, a lot of feather boards over the years, and these from Milescraft are our favorites. A single, shorter first finger, and the open body make setting the tension a cinch. Sold as a pair, they stack for tall workpieces, or separate to provide both in- and down-pressure. And they appeal to our frugal side: All of the hardware (miter bars, T-bolts, etc.) comes with this model to use in all those setups—and it still costs less than buying two single models!
